Role Description
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the development and growth of a high-impact consumer commerce product portfolio, directly connecting local businesses with their customers. You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from strategy and feature definition to delivery and measurable business results. Working in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Design, Engineering, Go-to-Market, and Operations. You’ll mentor a small team of Product Managers while fostering innovation, setting priorities, and making strategic trade-offs that drive revenue, retention, and growth. This position is ideal for a hands-on, founder-minded product leader passionate about solving real problems for small business operators.
- Lead the Consumer Commerce product portfolio, defining and executing the product roadmap to drive revenue and customer engagement.
- Own the full product lifecycle, including opportunity identification, feature development, delivery, and impact measurement.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Design, Engineering, Go-to-Market, Operations) to ensure seamless product development and execution.
- Mentor and manage a small team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and innovation.
- Leverage customer insights, market research, and data analysis to inform product decisions and prioritize initiatives.
- Ensure that all products meet customer needs, business objectives, and quality standards.
- Identify new areas for investment and innovation to expand the product portfolio and enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Product Management experience in commerce, consumer marketplace, or related domains.
- Strong customer-centric mindset with empathy for small business owners and frontline operators.
- Proven ability to deliver measurable business outcomes, including revenue growth, retention, and engagement.
- Experience leading and mentoring Product Managers, with a hands-on approach and “lead by doing” mentality.
- Highly analytical, comfortable forming hypotheses from data and designing structured experiments to test them.
- Proficiency with product analytics tools and confident diving into data independently.
- Fluent in agile software development and experienced collaborating closely with Engineering teams.
- Strong product judgment, capable of making trade-offs and defending priorities.
- Excellent written and asynchronous communication skills for remote collaboration.
- Familiarity with the restaurant or food service industry is a plus.
