• Identify and capture incremental revenue opportunities by expanding fuel and non-fuel product acceptance among underutilized merchant sites • Drive the evolution of technical integration standards, including APIs, network configurations, and non-persistent port setups • Oversee the end-to-end merchant journey—from initial sales engagement, agreement creation to technical certification • Act as the primary liaison between Sales, Engineering, Legal, Operations, Authorization Gateway, Network Operations and Finance • Shape compliance standards for card sales, ensuring frictionless authorization and data validation in collaboration with POS providers and Networks • Direct the management of SSVR settings, firewall/VPN configurations (Aviatrix), and error-handling protocols • Serve as a trusted advisor, presenting WEX’s value proposition to executive-level stakeholders and resolving complex customer inquiries • Hire, train, and equip business development and technical onboarding professionals with tools like Jira to manage complex project pipelines
