Role Description

This role involves managing a docket of single-plaintiff employment cases from intake through resolution, with substantial autonomy and robust support. Your work will focus on:

  • Case strategy, pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motion practice
  • Adversarial negotiations, mediations, and settlement conferences
  • Collaboration with operations, legal assistants, and firm leadership
  • Leveraging structured, tech-enabled workflows for efficiency

Qualifications

  • CA-barred litigators with employment law experience
  • Strong adversarial negotiation skills
  • Experience with wage-and-hour and/or FEHA/ADA matters
  • Comfort working in tech-driven, highly structured systems
  • No interest in traditional firm hierarchy or ego-driven cultures
  • Attorneys from plaintiff-side firms, employment defense, or in-house roles are encouraged to apply—especially those ready to focus on litigation, not admin.

Requirements

  • This role is 100% remote.
  • Preference given to candidates in PT, MT, or CT time zones.

Benefits

  • Base Salary: $140,000–$160,000 (flexible for top performers)
  • Performance Bonuses: Common total comp $225,000–$250,000+
  • Comprehensive benefits package including 401(k)
