Job Description
Role Description
The Sales Consultant is responsible for both maximizing current business (70%) and developing new markets (30%) for Sun Gro international accounts. This includes supporting the entire export sales and marketing process, developing customer relations.
- Manage existing accounts with a primary focus of maintaining and growing Sun Gro Sales in the Mexican and Central American Markets
- Manage all orders, organize products to ship, and delegate tasks accordingly
- Provide support with required reports and sales calls
- Record keeping in Salesforce for all international accounts
- Travel internationally to manage distribution sales activity by management/sales meetings, sales rep visits, industry trade conference and events
- Timely submission of sales reports & expense reports as required to meet monthly deadline
Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Agriculture, Marketing, or Business Administration
- Knowledge of the Region, with Export Sales experience, or equivalent
- Previous experience working in the Agriculture / Greenhouse / Cannabis Industries would be an advantage
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in Spanish and English
- Superior project management and interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding and proficiency of computers and software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Salesforce

- Tight timelines, so working extended hours during peak periods is required
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds
