Role Description

This role involves contributing culinary expertise to a large-scale AI training initiative focused on improving culinary reasoning, recipe generation, ingredient knowledge, and culturally grounded food analysis in advanced AI models.

• Author food and drink prompts covering recipe development, cooking techniques, ingredient substitutions, and regional cuisine analysis
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for culinary accuracy, clarity, and cultural authenticity
• Produce high-quality human-authored gold responses for nuanced cooking or beverage scenarios
• Develop prompt variations exploring differences in ingredients, equipment availability, dietary requirements, or regional adaptations
• Evaluate outputs across different tones including instructional, conversational, technical, and editorial formats
• Identify model failure cases involving incorrect techniques, unsafe food handling advice, unrealistic substitutions, or culturally inaccurate representations of cuisines

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sustained engagement with food and beverage culture through cooking, writing, content creation, or community participation
• Experience with recipe development, culinary experimentation, or beverage crafting
• Active participation in culinary discourse in at least one of the following languages: Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Russian, German, Arabic, Thai, Tamil, or Hindi
• Strong familiarity with regional cuisines, traditional cooking techniques, and ingredient availability
• Ability to clearly explain cooking processes, flavor combinations, and beverage pairings
• Strong written communication skills and thoughtful editorial judgment

Requirements

• Experience as a chef, culinary instructor, food writer, or recipe developer
• Knowledge of beverage traditions such as wine, coffee, tea, cocktails, or fermentation
• Experience producing culinary content such as blogs, videos, or social media posts

Contract Details

• Independent contractor role
• Fully remote with flexible scheduling
