Job Description
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst 1 to join IQVIA Laboratories in a remote position.

As a Business Systems Analyst 1, you will play a crucial role in setting up and managing clinical trial sample plans and related data. You will work closely with study teams and other stakeholders to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of study subject samples and consent.
What you’ll be doing:
- Creating clinical trial sample plans and related data for setting up studies within software systems.
- Leading the development of Data Transfer Specifications (DTSs), ensuring compliance with system and customer requirements.
- Configuring and testing custom data loaders to enable data ingestion per DTSs.
- Performing data integration Quality Control checks to ensure compliance with DTSs.
- Conducting Quality Control checks of study setup to ensure accurate reporting of client data.
- Assisting internal support and operational teams and external data providers in troubleshooting data ingestion errors.
- Supporting study teams and other end users with project updates and system training.
- Providing regular updates to project trackers and documentation for internal stakeholders.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related domain.
- One (1) year of experience in data or systems analysis.
- Or other equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
The knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for this role:
- Knowledge of business-wide applications or IQVIA client-facing applications and products.
- Demonstrated ability to understand client requirements and the underlying infrastructure of applications, systems, and processes.
- Familiarity or experience with laboratory work, study setup, clinical trials, clinical data management, and/or Software Development Lifecycle.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $47,700.00 - $119,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.Related Guides
