Role Description

This role plays a critical part in shaping revenue strategy by designing, implementing, and managing variable compensation models and performance metrics that drive growth. The Senior Analyst, Revenue Operations will partner closely with Sales, Finance, and Strategy teams to align incentive plans with organizational goals, provide actionable insights on revenue performance, and support headcount and financial planning. You will analyze the impact of compensation structures on metrics such as CAC, LTV, and sales efficiency, while identifying opportunities to optimize behaviors that improve acquisition, retention, and profitability. This position combines strategic modeling, operational execution, and financial analysis in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will create dashboards and executive-level presentations to inform leadership decisions and ensure alignment across commercial functions. The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual capable of translating complex data into clear insights that drive measurable outcomes.

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable variable compensation models aligned with revenue and P&L objectives
  • Partner with Sales, Strategy, and Finance leadership to establish data-driven quotas, targets, and performance metrics
  • Analyze compensation structures and their impact on unit economics, sales efficiency, and long-term profitability
  • Evaluate incentive plan effectiveness, recommending SPIFs, contests, or structural adjustments to drive desired behaviors
  • Build automated dashboards and analytical insights for attainment, earnings, productivity, and revenue performance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support forecasting, headcount planning, and monthly variance analysis tied to compensation spend
  • Develop executive-level presentations to communicate how compensation strategy affects revenue outcomes and organizational behavior

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Commercial Strategy, or related function
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, Salesforce, and data visualization tools (Tableau or similar)
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, administering, and calculating sales compensation and incentive plans
  • Expertise in operational and financial modeling, including leveraging AI-enabled tools for insights
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects from strategy through execution
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
