Role Description

This role offers a strategic opportunity to lead and grow individual donor revenue for a high-impact organization addressing extreme poverty. You will oversee the full donor lifecycle, including acquisition, retention, upgrades, and legacy giving, while shaping the vision and execution of campaigns that inspire widespread support. The position involves managing a small, high-performing team and collaborating closely with cross-functional partners to optimize systems, messaging, and donor experiences. Success in this role will directly accelerate mission-driven growth, strengthen recurring giving, and build scalable programs that deliver long-term impact. This is a remote position, providing flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to influence organizational strategy while driving meaningful social change.

  • Own the strategy and execution of individual giving revenue, including acquisition, conversion, recurring giving, retention, upgrades, and donor lifetime value.
  • Build and scale a bequests/legacy giving program, including hiring and managing a dedicated lead, defining supporter journeys, and managing external partners.
  • Optimize the end-to-end donor experience, including donation flows, communications, and engagement across email, web, SMS, social, and advertising channels.
  • Analyze performance metrics, conduct cohort analyses, and run structured tests to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop Growth Managers, establishing clear goals, operating cadence, and accountability frameworks.
  • Oversee third-party and international donation partners and assess future expansion opportunities into new geographies based on data-driven insights.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in digital fundraising, growth, e-commerce, or product-led revenue roles with clear accountability for acquisition and retention.
  • Proven track record in structured testing, funnel optimization, and metrics-driven performance analysis.
  • Experience building and scaling teams in lean environments, with strong coaching and development skills.
  • Ability to create compelling content that engages, motivates, converts, and retains donors across multiple channels.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data, Marketing, and Operations teams to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Deep alignment with mission-driven work, values-based leadership, and social impact objectives.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and strategic planning skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable growth plans.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary ($128,000) with performance-based bonus potential (~15%) and total compensation of ~$147,200+.
  • Annual benefits stipend (~$21,393) to cover healthcare, professional development, or additional taxable income.
  • Fully remote work with U.S.-based preference and flexible schedule.
  • Paid time off and encouraged work-life balance.
  • Robust health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision plans.
  • Opportunities for professional growth, mentorship, and skill development.
  • Supportive and collaborative work culture with focus on mission-driven impact and inclusion.
  • Occasional travel (~3–4 trips annually) for team and donor engagement.
