The Role: What to Expect
- Flexible Location: Work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. (with reliable high-speed internet).
- Travel Requirement: Minimum one week per month at assigned contracted sites. Current travel is to Alaska.
- Comprehensive Team Approach: Work alongside experienced psychiatric physicians, NPs, PAs, and psychotherapists in a physician-supervised, team-oriented care model.
- In-Depth Training: All candidates, regardless of prior experience, will complete our internal psychiatric education program, led by physicians with 175+ years of combined experience.
- Full-Spectrum Psychiatric Care: Provide diagnosis, treatment, crisis intervention, medication management, supportive counseling, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and formulate treatment plans.
- Provide mental health care for patients of all ages with psychiatric diagnoses.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to develop individualized care strategies.
- Administer medications, manage crisis situations, and monitor patient progress.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
- Offer psychoeducation and support to patients, families, and caregivers.
What We're Looking For
- Physician Assistant licensure (or eligibility) in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Montana, Utah, Alaska, or other future expansion states.
- A license in your state of residence.
- DEA number (or ability to obtain one).
- Psychiatry experience preferred; Psychiatry Certification required when eligible.
- Ability to travel at least one week per month.
- Compliance with all required vaccinations (including COVID-19 and flu; no exceptions).
