Role Description
This role involves managing distribution strategies for both Corporate Markets and Tax-Exempt markets.
- Responsible for consultant relationship management, TPA Relationship team, and RFP team.
- Drive growth strategies with key intermediaries.
- Manage day-to-day activities of Consultant Relations, TPA, Broker Dealer, Advisor Concierge Support, and Intermediary Reporting teams.
- Identify key retirement distribution partners to negotiate with and develop business plans.
- Develop, maintain, and distribute executive level reporting on opportunities, advance rates, and win rates.
- Assess metrics and drive thought leadership opportunities, product development, and sales strategies.
- Serve as Executive Sponsor on key existing client relationships when needed.
- Collaborate with relationship management staff to develop and implement client retention strategies.
- Oversee consultant questionnaires to drive quality and product enhancements.
- Improve relations with the consultant/intermediary community to drive new business opportunities.
- Work closely with Sales and Service business leaders to integrate growth strategies.
- Develop quality presentations for key consultants in collaboration with sales, marketing, and product teams.
- Establish strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders.
- Lead coordination efforts related to site visits and attend conferences hosted by key distributors.
- Oversee Voya’s industry conference strategy and budget with key organizations.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; MBA preferred.
- Broad knowledge of retirement products, distribution channels, and services.
- Detailed knowledge of the defined contribution competitive landscape.
- Highly motivated and creative problem solver.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a cross-functional team.
- Ability to effectively prioritize competing demands.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Travel – 20-30%.
