The Informatics Consultants (IC) are trusted advisors who drive laboratory digital transformation by bridging operational workflows, digital solutions, and business outcomes. This role will report to the Informatics Solutions Manager.

Customer Discovery & Digital Maturity Assessment
- Lead discovery sessions with laboratory leadership staff and clinical stakeholders to understand workflow challenges, operational gaps, and strategic goals.
- Conduct digital maturity assessments and benchmark customers against industry standards for laboratory digitalization, informatics, and data analytics adoption.
- Translate business needs into measurable outcomes (data efficiency, turnaround time reduction, cost savings, standardization) achievable through our Informatics portfolio products, partnering with ISAs to ensure the feasibility of proposed workflows within the technical architecture of the healthcare provider organization.

Workflow Optimization & Value Realization
- Develop future-state workflow models in collaboration with customers, partnering with Healthcare Consultants (HCs) on clinical/operational workflows and with Informatics Solutions Architects (ISAs) on technical feasibility.
- Identify opportunities for standardization, interoperability, and decision-support across multi-site laboratory networks collaborating with HCs to address operational process changes and with ISAs to validate Informatics integration.
- Support business case creation (ROI, TCO, KPI tracking) to demonstrate value realization from Informatics investments.

Sales & Commercial Support
- Partner with Healthcare Informatics Sales Executives (HITs) and ISAs during sales discovery, solution design, and late-stage sales to articulate business value propositions.
- Contribute to RFP/RFI responses by framing customer outcomes, workflow enhancements, and digital maturity alignment.
- Deliver executive-level presentations in partnership with HITs, to Lab Directors, IT Departments, CIOs, and hospital leadership on transformation strategies.
- Differentiating Siemens Healthineers through consultative selling, emphasizing outcomes, not just technology.

Implementation Alignment & Change Management
- Work closely with ISAs, HCs, and Project Managers during handover to ensure workflows and customer expectations are aligned with solution design.
- Utilize established change management frameworks and tools to support stakeholders’ engagement, training, and communication throughout digital transformation initiatives.
- Conduct post-go-live Health Checks with ISAs and HCs, where applicable, to evaluate solution adoption, KPI achievement, and optimization opportunities.
- Provide structured feedback to Product Management and Global Marketing based on customer experience and unmet needs.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
- Act as the workflow and value counterpart to ISAs, ensuring that proposed informatics solutions are both technically sound and operationally impactful.
- Mentor sales and consulting colleagues on workflow best practices, customer engagement strategies, and value messaging.
- Contribute to regional best-practice playbooks, workflow templates, and consulting frameworks.
