Role Description

Homeward Title is looking for an accomplished, high-performing Escrow Officer to join our team. This person is responsible for providing an impeccable experience to our customers and agents as it relates to the Title part of the Homeward process. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

  • Processing escrow documents in accordance with established company policies and procedures and TDI regulations.
  • Acting as a neutral third-party between buyers and sellers during all real estate transactions, managing funds, and processing all related transaction details.
  • Completing transactions by determining requirements; clearing titles; assembling, preparing, and reviewing all closing documents; disbursing related funds.
  • High levels of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize, multitask, and focus on deadlines will determine your success in this role.
  • Providing an incredible customer experience by being informative, responsive, patient, and friendly in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Escrow Officer experience, including high-level curative resolution and supervising detailed disbursement practices.
  • Current Texas Escrow Officer license.
  • Knowledge of legal documents with the ability to analyze and evaluate documents as they relate to closings.
  • Software experience with Qualia strongly desired.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional communication skills with clients.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. Deadline-driven.
  • Resilient team player - ability to roll with the punches and adapt to change is key.

Benefits

  • Compensation range: $33.65/hr + Per/File Bonus.
