Job Description

Pivot Strategies is a communications consulting firm that helps organizations navigate complex change and transformation. We partner with some of the world’s most respected companies to strengthen alignment, clarify strategy, and drive successful adoption of new initiatives. Our team brings deep expertise in internal communications, organizational change management, and training, helping leaders connect strategy to execution in ways that resonate with their people and culture.

Our values:

  • Positive mental attitude: We start with yes, we love to learn and enjoy a challenge.
  • Better is possible: We uphold premium standards, always put in the extra effort, and go above and beyond.
  • Self-care is non-negotiable: We lead with kindness and respect, prioritizing wellbeing to enable our best work.
  • Be the change: We are quick learners, embrace change and adapt quickly.
  • Unapologetically hungry: We are excited by growth and always looking for opportunities.

Job description:

We’re looking for a seasoned, strategic, and hands-on Senior Organizational Change Management (OCM) Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will lead large-scale transformation initiatives, serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, and own end-to-end OCM strategy and delivery.

This role requires considerable experience supporting enterprise transformation programs that combine business process change, operational improvements, and enabling technology. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments and is comfortable bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, locations, and evolving requirements

Things to note:

This is a primarily remote position with periodic travel within the United States based on client engagement needs. While Pivot offers a flexible work environment, our flexibility is guided by the requirements of each client engagement, which may include occasional on-site collaboration with client teams.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Serve as the OCM lead for complex transformation programs, owning strategy, execution, and client outcomes.
  • Advise executive sponsors and senior leaders on change risks, stakeholder alignment, and adoption strategies.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive OCM strategies, including change impact assessments, stakeholder engagement plans, communications, readiness planning, training strategy, and post-go-live reinforcement.
  • Translate complex operational and technology initiatives into clear, concise communications, executive messaging, and actionable change roadmaps.
  • Operate as a trusted, self-directed advisor who can quickly assess complex initiatives, identify areas of ambiguity, and bring structure and clarity to moving programs forward.
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment sessions across functions and locations to clarify requirements, resolve concerns, and build shared ownership of change outcomes.
  • Integrate OCM workstreams with PMO timelines, governance structures, and program milestones to ensure change activities support overall program delivery.
  • Measure and report on change effectiveness using adoption metrics, readiness indicators, feedback loops, and executive dashboards.
  • Contribute to business development efforts through scoping support, proposal input, and identifying opportunities to expand client relationships.

Job Requirements

  • Why we’ll love you:
  • You bring 8–12+ years of experience leading organizational change within complex, matrixed enterprise environments, ideally in consulting or transformation-focused roles.
  • You have successfully supported enterprise-scale transformations, including initiatives involving business process change and enabling technologies such as ERP, SaaS platforms, or enterprise systems.
  • You are confident and credible with executive stakeholders and comfortable facilitating high-stakes discussions and alignment sessions.
  • You think strategically but are willing to roll up your sleeves and personally deliver high-quality work when needed.
  • You bring strong business acumen and understand how operational, financial, and technology changes intersect to drive business outcomes.
  • You are adaptable, self-directed, and comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving requirements in consulting environments.

Benefits

  • Why you’ll love us:
  • A modern, flexible workplace culture: We prioritize work-life balance with flexible schedules, remote work options, summer Fridays, and generous PTO.
  • We invest in our team: We provide medical and dental benefits, a 401(k) with company match after 6 months of employment, profit-sharing benefits, life insurance, long and short-term disability options, and a budget for professional development reimbursement.
  • Opportunities to grow and lead: As we scale, we’re looking for team members who want to shape our future, whether by building out new capabilities, leading a team, or refining best practices. We’ll support your personal and professional development every step of the way.
