Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical professional eager to grow within midstream transportation services in the natural gas industry. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, the ability to manage daily regulatory requirements, and the capacity to collaborate effectively across teams and other departments, while also demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively with customers. The Natural Gas Scheduler - Midstream (Transportation Services Representative) is responsible for confirming and scheduling EQT Midstream's nominations in accordance with NAESB and FERC guidelines. This includes:
- Ensuring all nominations are scheduled daily across the five FERC cycles.
- Maintaining compliance and supporting customers by communicating EQT Midstream's processes.
- Ensuring reports and postings are accurately maintained on EQT Midstream's EBB (Electronic Bulletin Board).
- Applying strong attention to detail and analytical skills in daily responsibilities.
- Interacting with customers via email, telephone, and ICE Chat concerning EBB issues, nomination requests, retroactive nomination requests, and any general pipeline questions.
- Working non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
The Transportation Services Representatives provide coverage from 7:00 AM-11:00 PM (EST) 365 days per year. The selected incumbent will be expected to work on a swing shift rotation. Shifts operate on a 36-hour/45-hour (or 45-hour/36-hour) block rotation. Overtime is compensated according to EQT policy. The selected incumbent will have the ability to work scheduled overtime on a regular basis and unscheduled overtime required to meet operational needs.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field, or educational equivalent of 1 to 2 years of related work experience demonstrating quantitative and analytical skills.
- Analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to think swiftly and critically.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills to communicate and collaborate effectively with teammates, across other departments, and with external customers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high-volume workload and frequent deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a closely related field or 4-5 years of related work experience demonstrating quantitative and analytical skills (preferred).
- Experience with Quorum (QPTM and TIPS).
- Experience with SCADA Systems.
- Working knowledge of Smartsheet, Salesforce, and Power Queries.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Knowledge of Oil & Gas industry, including an understanding of regulated natural gas pipelines and common industry terminology.
- Internship in related field or 1+ years of experience in Oil & Gas Industry.
