Job Description
Role Description
As a Vice President, Recordkeeping & TPA Services on the Retirement Services team, you’ll play a pivotal role by partnering with EFE leadership, technology, sales, and compliance to ensure scalable, compliant, and high-quality retirement services.
- Define and execute the long-term strategy for recordkeeping and TPA services, aligned with organizational growth and profitability goals while overseeing day-to-day Retirement Plan Recordkeeping administration.
- Lead modernization, automation, and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and client experience.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on retirement plan administration trends, regulatory changes, and market standards.
- Partner with Legal and Compliance to manage audits, examinations, corrections, and regulatory inquiries.
- Oversee internal controls, SOC reporting, and risk mitigation strategies related to retirement services operations.
- Partner with Sales, Relationship Management, and Product teams to support client acquisition, retention, and expansion, acting as an escalation point for key clients, advisors, and plan sponsors.
- Collaborate with technology vendors, custodians, and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and develop senior managers and functional leaders across recordkeeping and TPA teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, finance, accounting, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in retirement services, recordkeeping, and third-party administration.
- Deep expertise in defined contribution plan administration and ERISA regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience leading large, complex operations and cross-functional teams.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders, clients, and regulators.
- Proficiency with FIS Relius Administration (required).
- Working knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations governing qualified plans.
- Strong Excel and data management skills.
- ASPPA or NIPA credentials (QKA, QKC, etc.) a plus but not required.
Requirements
- Expected base salary range for this role nationally is $204,700 - $273,000.
- Final base pay will be determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions.
- This role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans, and 401(k) contributions.
