Robert Half, one of FORTUNE’s World’s Most Admired Companies and a Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For is hiring for a Product Manager - Compensation to join the HR Product Management and Digital Experience department.

In this role you will define and execute the product strategy for Compensation, including merit and compensation review cycles, job architecture management, bonus and incentive plan management, pay range structures and grade profiles, and total compensation statements at Robert Half and Protiviti.

This role requires someone who can consult with stakeholders, IT, and vendor partners to influence decision-making and translate business needs into scalable digital solutions that support Robert Half’s compensation strategy and total rewards philosophy. This role requires a passion for leveraging technology to modernize and optimize compensation programs. Workday Compensation experience is preferred, but equivalent experience with enterprise compensation platforms will be considered; the ideal candidate must have the technical aptitude to quickly learn complex HR platforms and the strategic mindset to drive product direction.

What You'll Do

  • Product Strategy & Vision

    • Define and evolve the product roadmap for Workday Compensation, incorporating AI-driven analytics, compensation benchmarking, and continuous cycle optimization.

    • Align product strategy with organizational total rewards goals, including merit planning, incentive program design, and pay transparency initiatives.

    • Identify opportunities to use emerging technologies, including AI to improve personalization, reduce manual work and enhance employee experience.

  • AI & Technology Enablement

    • Understand AI capabilities to automate compensation workflows, enhance user experience, and surface actionable insights for merit and incentive planning.

    • Evaluate and implement tools that support compensation benchmarking, market pricing integration, and pay range modeling.

    • Stay current on HR Tech trends and assess platforms and features to elevate employee experience.

  • Customer Experience & Stakeholder Engagement

    • Collaborate with global stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs and objectives, and translate them into actionable product features.

    • Influence decision-making through data-driven insights and industry best practices.

    • Build strong relationships with Core HR team, IT vendors and business partners.

    • Understands customer needs, evaluates market trends and competition, and leverages insights to determine feature direction and innovation opportunities.

  • Product and Platform Management

    • Own end-to-end product lifecycle, including discovery, design, configuration, change management, deployment, and adoption.

    • Drive user adoption through intuitive design, effective communication, and continuous feedback loops.

    • Ensure proper governance, monitor operational performance and ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards.

  • Analytics & Continuous Improvement

    • Define success metrics for compensation products, incorporating cycle completion rates, manager worksheet utilization, and business impacts.

    • Leverage AI-enabled analytics to optimize compensation review processes, predictive compensation modeling, and inform roadmap decisions.

    • Gather stakeholder and manager feedback from compensation review cycles and integrate insights into product enhancements.


What You'll Need

  • 4-8 years of product management experience, preferably in HR technology or Compensation; Workday Compensation experience strongly preferred, though equivalent enterprise compensation platform experience will be considered.

  • Proven experience managing SaaS products and integrating emerging technologies.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, HR Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Strong analytical mindset; familiarity with AI concepts and data-driven decision making. Familiarity with compensation frameworks, job architecture management, and total rewards strategies.

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate business needs into product features and articulate technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with data visualization tools and analytics platforms is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and influence cross-functional teams.

  • Customer-focused, innovative, and passionate about leveraging technology to drive organizational capability.

  • Comfortable working in agile environments and adapting to evolving business needs.

The typical annual salary range for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.

$96,000.00 - $145,000.00
