Job Description
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of at least 8–10 years in business development, strategic alliances, or related roles, preferably in the e-commerce, payments, or fraud prevention technology sector.
- Strong understanding of the e-commerce, payments, and/or fraud prevention industries, market dynamics, and emerging trends.
- Deep experience working with major commerce and cloud platform companies such as Salesforce or AWS. SAP, Shopify, and others preferred
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating and closing complex deals and partnerships.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a leadership philosophy that aligns with Forter’s cultural norms and emphasizes coaching, collaboration, and high accountability.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven and process-oriented mindset: you build scalable, repeatable go-to-market motions for your team and are highly coachable and open to feedback.
- Experience operating in global, matrixed organizations and working effectively across time zones and cultures.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities. You are a clear thinker, speaker, and writer – highly creative in messaging and in visually presenting complex topics.
- Startup background preferred: comfort with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements, with no hesitation to roll up your sleeves and pitch in wherever needed to help solve problems with a positive attitude.
- Ability to travel as needed within the Americas region, with occasional international travel to support global partner and customer engagements (likely 20–40% overall).
