Role Description
Prompt is revolutionizing healthcare by delivering highly automated and modern software to rehab therapy businesses, the teams within, and the patients they serve. We’re looking to bring on an EDI Analyst I to help contribute to the continued growth of our EDI/ERA Department.
This role is an unprecedented opportunity to have an immense impact in our industry leading EDI/ERA Department that ranks 40 Net Promoter Score points higher than our competition. We’re looking for someone scrappy, willing to bring new ideas, take on big challenges, and is into doubling down on what works.
Our expectation of this role is that you become a major contributor in assisting our clients via our chat/email support channel for all things 837/835 related.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our RCM/Clearinghouse capabilities to effectively respond to incoming customer inquiries across our single-channel support system.
- Resolve common support ticket inquiries in a timely manner (Clearinghouse rejections, EDI Rules, ERA/EDI Application Help, etc).
- Improve and advocate for customer experience by identifying opportunities to enhance our enrollment process and provided EDI/ERA support.
- Understand customer needs on a case by case basis to ensure a successful transition (NPI/TIN billing combinations, payer mix, unique billing rules).
- Ensure ERA/EDI Enrollment Process is underway according to onboarding schedule.
- Provide customers with relevant enrollment paperwork and provide support if requested.
- Monitor accounts for rejections or issues specific to enrollment related items throughout the client's implementation.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of X12 Manual (837P, 837I, 835, 276, 277).
- Experience performing Healthcare EDI/ERA enrollment process from start to finish for Part A and/or Part B facilities.
- Experience as EDI Analyst, troubleshooting clearinghouse/payer related rejections.
- Clear and effective communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.
- Demonstrated extreme attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines with a strong sense of urgency.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and work independently as well as in a team setting.
Preferred (Nice-to-have) Qualifications
- Prior startup and/or B2B SaaS technology organization experience.
- Experience in any function of clinical development or medical billing operations (clinical operations, data management, biostatistics, system management, information management, medical monitoring, RCM follow up, claim review and submission, etc.).
- Experience with Zendesk or similar customer support software.
- Experience with healthcare data/systems, ideally clinical/operational clinical trial data/systems.
- Knowledge of e-clinical systems and technologies (e.g. EMR, RTM, HEP, CRM, HIEs, etc).
