Job DetailsJob Location: PSC Remote - Irving, TX 75062Position Type: FT1Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 SalaryJob Category: Information TechnologyClinical Technology Specialist   Profile The Clinical Technology Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, management, and optimization of clinical technology solutions across all oral surgery practices. This individual will collaborate with leadership, clinical teams, and IT personnel to enhance workflow efficiencies, improve patient outcomes, and ensure seamless integration of technology into clinical operations.   Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end deployment, vendor coordination, integration, and training of clinical imaging and digital technologies, including EHR-integrated imaging software, CBCT systems, intraoral scanners, 3D printers, and digital surgical planning workflows across affiliated practices. Coordinate and execute multi-site technology rollouts, ensuring standardized implementation, minimal disruption to patient care, and alignment with operational and clinical objectives. Develop and maintain standardized deployment checklists, go-live protocols, and integration workflows, ensuring seamless connectivity with practice management systems (PMS) and network infrastructure. Provide hands-on clinical technology support at the practice level, including workflow optimization, troubleshooting, CBCT acquisition support, software navigation guidance, and reinforcement of radiation safety best practices. Partner with vendor technical support and internal IT teams to resolve system issues, support downtime mitigation planning, and ensure timely recovery to maintain clinical continuity. Support training initiatives and change management efforts to drive adoption, competency, and sustained utilization of new technologies. Monitor clinical technology performance using KPIs and data analytics, identifying trends and recommending workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and patient care outcomes. Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry advancements in oral surgery and healthcare, contributing insights to support innovation and strategic planning.   Skills Strong working knowledge of oral surgery procedures, including extractions, implant placement, grafting, and full-arch workflows, with understanding of surgical day flow, sedation protocols, and patient monitoring requirements. Expertise in CBCT acquisition, digital radiography, intraoral scanning, and imaging protocols required for implant planning and surgical guide workflows. Proficiency in digital file management (STL/DICOM), case documentation standards, and coordination with dental laboratories for surgical and restorative communication. Working knowledge of EHR systems and practice management software, including clinical documentation, imaging integration, scheduling workflows, and interoperability considerations. Understanding of sterilization standards, infection control protocols, and regulatory requirements (OSHA, CPR/BLS, radiology compliance). Ability to assess and develop clinical team competency in digital workflows, imaging systems, and software navigation. Skilled in translating clinical and operational needs into practical technology solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot workflow disruptions and optimize system performance. Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools to monitor KPIs, technology adoption, and clinical performance outcomes. Adaptability to evolving technology platforms and healthcare regulations.   Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Clinical Informatics, or dental assisting / hygienist. 2+ years of chairside assisting experience (oral surgery experience strongly preferred), extractions, implant placement, Bone grafting, IV Sedation. (Preferred in healthcare technology, clinical operations, or IT support roles.) Experience implementing and managing EHR, imaging, and practice management systems in a healthcare setting, Familiarity with intraoral scanning (preferred). Knowledge of regulatory compliance, including HIPAA and data security standards. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally. Experience in dentistry or related healthcare fields is a plus if no experience in the oral surgery field. 25% Travel will be required, percentage subject to change.         Qualifications
