Job Description
About the Role
We're building something that doesn't exist yet - a domestic supply chain for rare earth materials and magnets. That means we need someone who can find talent before they're looking and get them excited about what we're creating.
This is a full-cycle recruiting role for someone who knows how to source passive candidates, build talent networks, and sell a compelling story to people who have options. You'll be recruiting across corporate, mining, and engineering roles in a fast-moving startup environment where building process and figuring things out as you go is part of the job.
What you’ll do:
- Proactively source and engage passive candidates for corporate, mining, and engineering roles
- Build and maintain talent pipelines and networks in target industries
- Own full-cycle recruiting from sourcing through offer and close
- Partner with hiring managers to understand needs and shape role requirements
- Communicate USARE's employee value proposition to candidates and help them see why this opportunity matters
- Create and refine recruiting processes and tools as the team grows
- Use Rippling to manage candidate flow, maintain data integrity, and track hiring metrics
- Support onboarding and early employee engagement
What You Bring
- 5+ years recruiting for corporate, mining, or engineering roles
- Proven ability to source and close passive candidates
- Startup or high-growth environment experience - you don't need an SOP for everything and you're comfortable building as you go
- Strong storytelling skills and ability to sell a compelling vision to candidates
- Experience with Rippling or similar ATS/HRIS platforms
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
