Role Description

The Senior Accountant – Consolidations is a key role and member within the Windsor Controlling group, primarily focused on the discipline of Consolidations for the global enterprise.

• Administer foundational elements within the global consolidations financial close and internal reporting process.
• Support global intercompany and affiliate management by identifying related imbalances or misclassifications.
• Facilitate needed corrections and assist regional and local finance directors to reduce intercompany out-of-balance amounts.
• Regularly administer reviews of both entity level and consolidated financial statements.
• Drive operating efficiencies and consistent practices, including the development and governance of financial reviews.
• Reduce consolidation level correcting adjustments and support legal entity rationalization.
• Maintain effective internal controls.
• Participate in the quarterly external consolidated financial reporting process.
• Create and review financial statements and footnote disclosures.
• Support cash management activities, journal entries, account reconciliation review, and policy compliance.
• Drive adherence to group standards and find efficiencies to reduce the total time needed to complete a close.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• An active CPA, or advancing toward, is preferred.
• 3+ years accounting experience; large and/or multi-national, multi-currency company experience is preferred.
• Consolidation experience, including use of consolidation systems, is helpful.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office apps.
• Familiarity with accounting and reporting (US GAAP) knowledge.
• Familiarity with modern, best-in-class, consolidations systems (such as OneStream) and/or ERP systems (such as SAP) is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to influence people and processes without direct responsibility.
• Ability to prioritize, plan, organize and meet deadlines.

• This role is remote-based and eligible for U.S.-based candidates.

• The salary range is $110,000 - $125,000 and eligible for incentive pay.
