Job Description
Role Description
The Mortgage Sales Manager serves as a strategic execution partner to the EVP leadership team, providing hands-on support to daily sales activity while acting as a key connector between Sales, Operations, and internal partners. This role operates close to mortgage production, ensuring initiatives, priorities, and decisions move efficiently from strategy to execution.
By supporting follow-through, coordination, and execution across teams, this position enables EVP leaders to remain focused on growth strategy, talent development, market expansion, and long-term planning.
This is not an administrative role. Success in this position requires a strong understanding of mortgage sales, pipeline dynamics, and operational workflows, along with the ability to proactively solve problems, influence outcomes, and move work forward in a fast-paced environment.

- Support the rollout and execution of sales strategies, campaigns, and initiatives at the branch and LO level
- Serve as a primary point of coordination between Sales leadership and Operations (Processing, Underwriting, Closing, Secondary, etc.)
- Translate operational considerations into clear, actionable guidance for sales teams
- Support alignment and communication between sales leadership and operational partners
- Proactively identify recurring sales or operational issues before they escalate
- Support EVP leaders in researching, evaluating, and proposing solutions
- Own follow-up and accountability on assigned initiatives, action items, or escalations
- Coordinate with internal partners to ensure execution aligns with leadership expectations
- Assist in the development and refinement of sales tools, processes, and playbooks
- Support training initiatives, best-practice sharing, and field communications
- Help ensure clarity around expectations, processes, and priorities for sales teams
- Serve as a resource to Branch Managers and top producers on sales-related questions or challenges
- Take ownership of tactical execution to allow EVP leaders to remain focused on growth strategy, talent development, market expansion, and long-term sales planning
- Prepare insights, observations, and recommendations for leadership discussions
- Participate in leadership meetings as needed to represent execution realities from the field

- Strong understanding of mortgage products, pipeline management, and the full loan lifecycle
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with sales and operations teams
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- High level of ownership, accountability, and follow-through
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting senior leadership or enterprise-level sales teams
