We are looking for a Manager, Quality Engineering Enablement to lead both people and technology as we evolve our quality practices toward a more automated, continuous delivery model.
This role is responsible for building a team and shared capabilities that enable product and engineering teams to own their quality, contribute to sustainable automation, and get fast, reliable feedback from CI/CD pipelines—while thoughtfully balancing automated and exploratory testing approaches as our systems and teams mature.
A key part of this role is helping the organization leverage AI to accelerate quality engineering, including evaluating and proving out AI‑assisted tools and techniques that reduce test maintenance, increase coverage, and improve signal quality—then packaging those capabilities so teams can adopt them safely and consistently. AI is viewed as a way to augment strong testing judgment and domain knowledge, not replace it.
This is a hands‑on leadership role combining people management, technical strategy, and cross‑team enablement.
\n- Lead and grow a Quality Enablement team, focused on coaching and empowering delivery teams
- Define and evolve a balanced test strategy that increases automation over time while preserving effective manual and exploratory testing where it adds the most value
- Build and evolve test infrastructure embedded in CI/CD pipelines
- Enable team-owned testing through standards, templates, tooling, and clear contribution models
- Evaluate, pilot, and recommend AI assisted quality engineering approaches (e.g., automated test generation, self healing tests, risk based test selection, improved failure diagnostics) and turn successful approaches into reusable enablement patterns for teams
- Improve test reliability, visibility, and developer trust in quality signals
- Partner with Engineering and Product leadership to embed quality into daily delivery
- Experience as a people manager leading technical or quality focused teams
- Strong background in quality engineering and test automation
- Hands-on experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Experience guiding organizations from predominantly manual testing toward more automated, continuous quality practices
- Strong engineering fundamentals and collaborative leadership skills
- Experience with quality platforms or enablement teams
- Familiarity with Team Topologies and platform thinking
- Experience with AI assisted testing capabilities such as self healing automation, risk based test prioritization, automated test case generation, visual regression tooling, or defect/pipeline anomaly detection
- Experience with contract testing, test observability, or progressive delivery
- SaaS experience in continuous delivery environments
- University Degree in a relevant technical field; combination of experience and education may be substituted
- Experience mentoring and leading groups of engineers
- EHS+ Industry experience is preferred
