Role Description
GARUD is in search of a motivated, self-driven Journeyman Data Analyst. Applicants must have a passion for their work, be innovative, and possess strong verbal and written communication and analytic skills.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Utilize experience gathering information from various sources and assembling the information into a comprehensive work product for the Government to use for decisions.
- Review data analytics and create user-friendly data-driven management-level decision making tools, such as a dashboard.
- Experience must include combining multiple fields among multiple datasets and conducting different types of calculations/analyses (e.g., trend analysis, forecasting, descriptive statistics).
- Utilize ServiceNow as a business process software to optimize workflows and improve customer experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Operations Research, Mathematics, Economics, Data Analysis, Statistics, or a similar field.
- Experience with dashboards must be utilization-focused and tailorable to the audience.
- At least 2 years experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Enterprise Server, and R programming.
- 2 years of experience working with clients to improve data quality.
- 1 year of experience with performance measures and efficiency statistics.
- 1 year of experience presenting data and dashboards to an interdisciplinary audience.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and strategic thinking ability.
- At least 5 years of experience with data analytics and creating user-friendly data-driven management-level decision making tools, such as a dashboard.

- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position on a U.S. Government contract.
