Job Description
Role Description
Campminder's Finance team is growing and so is the complexity of the systems that power it. The Accounting Systems Analyst is a newly created role designed to bring dedicated ownership to the tools, integrations, and data flows that sit at the heart of our financial operations. As we continue to expand through acquisitions and scale our platform, this role will serve as the connective tissue between Salesforce, Maxio, and QuickBooks ensuring data moves reliably, processes are automated wherever possible, and the Finance team can close faster, report with confidence, and focus on the strategic work that drives our three-year goals. This is a high-impact opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up, with a direct line of sight to efficiency gains, AI-enabled finance operations, and a team that's genuinely excited about the future.
As an Accounting Systems Analyst on our Finance team, you will:
- Own our finance systems stack (Salesforce, Maxio, and QuickBooks) keeping them configured, optimized, and working well as our needs grow.
- Keep data flowing cleanly between systems, tracking down and fixing discrepancies before they cause problems downstream.
- Pitch in on month-end close, reconciliations, and audit prep across our multiple entities helping the team close faster and with more confidence.
- Build out reporting that actually runs itself — automated dashboards, executive packages, and weekly metrics that don't require someone to rebuild them every time.
- Take on bigger projects over time like ERP implementation and acquisition onboarding with growing independence and a fresh eye for how things could work better.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with financial or business systems (Salesforce, QuickBooks, or similar) and a solid sense of how data moves between them and where it tends to go sideways.
- A natural problem-solving instinct to dig into the data, figure out what's happening, and explain it clearly to someone who wasn't in the weeds with you.
- The confidence to work independently and own your projects, while staying curious, asking good questions, and knowing when to loop someone in.
- Excitement about automation and AI as we're actively building toward AI-enabled Finance operations and want someone who's genuinely interested in helping figure that out.
- The ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a hybrid setting by showing up as an equal contributor in virtual and hybrid environments, and incorporating Campminder's values into how you work every day.
Requirements
- Ideal start date: May 1st, 2026
- Role status: Exempt
- Compensation: Our target hiring range is $65,000 - $70,000 plus participation in our Annual Bonus Program with eligibility for $2,000 bonus. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience and skills.
- Campminder’s Flexible Working Location: Our employees have the option to work 100% remotely within the United States or their choice of days at home and at our office in Boulder, Colorado. We host a variety of all-company hybrid meetings and social events. We require anybody working remotely to have a very reliable, high-speed internet connection.
Benefits
- Robust medical, dental, and vision coverage options with generous employer contributions, plus a $500 employer HSA contribution for HSA-compatible plans.
- Ability to choose where you work - remotely, in the office, or a mix!
- A variety of resources to support mental health and emotional well-being.
- 12 weeks of 100% paid parental leave for all new parents, including via adoption, surrogacy, and foster care.
- 401(k) with 4% company matching.
- Trust-Based (flexible) PTO (and yes, we use it!).
- $900/year wellness allowance.
- Company-paid subscriptions, training, and support for using AI professionally and personally. We have a team dedicated to enabling our AI capabilities for our team members and our customers!
