Role Overview:
We are seeking a Solution Engineer to support our Supply Chain Intelligence solutions, with a focus on electronic components, parts intelligence, and supply chain risk. This role partners closely with sales, product, and services teams to help customers understand how complex data becomes actionable insight across engineering, procurement, and supply chain workflows.
As a Solution Engineer, you will own the technical pre-sales motion, lead discovery, deliver compelling demos, and secure the technical win by connecting product capabilities to measurable customer outcomes.
What You'll Do:• Own the technical pre-sales engagement for Supply Chain Intelligence solutions• Lead discovery sessions to understand customer workflows, challenges, and success criteria• Translate complex parts, compliance, and supply chain data into clear, outcome-driven value stories• Design and deliver tailored demos for engineers, supply chain leaders, procurement teams, and executives• Work with BOM data, parts intelligence, lifecycle risk, and compliance information• Support proofs of concept and technical validations as needed• Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to shape deal strategy and close opportunities• Handle technical objections and support competitive positioning• Provide clean handoffs to post-sales teams, including Customer Success and Content Services• Share customer feedback with Product and influence roadmap and positioning• Contribute to demo assets, best practices, and field enablement materials
What We're Looking For:
Required:• 2+ years of Solution Engineering, Sales Engineering, or similar customer-facing technical role• Experience or strong familiarity with electronic components, electronics manufacturing, or engineering workflows• Comfortable working with BOMs, parts data, and supply chain intelligence• Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences• Confident leading customer conversations, not just supporting them• Experience partnering with sales teams in a quota-carrying environment• Ability to translate technical capabilities into clear business value
Nice to Have:• Experience with supply chain intelligence platforms, parts databases, or BOM analysis tools• Familiarity with ERP, PLM, or supply chain systems and integrations• Knowledge of electronics compliance standards such as RoHS, REACH, EU Battery Directive, or similar• Background in procurement, sourcing, manufacturing, or hardware engineering• Experience supporting enterprise or mid-market customers
Work Environment:• This role is primarily remote with limited travel for customer meetings, events, or onsite engagements• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across sales, product, and services
Compensation/Benefits Information:
Accuris states that the anticipated salary range for this position is $115,000 to $135,000 + Bonus. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role.
