ABOUT THE POSITION (Remote)
The Director of Training and Enablement will serve as a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for designing, executing, and optimizing training programs that support Visante’s onsite client teams, including embedded medication access specialists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacists. This role drives workforce development initiatives that align training with organizational goals, client needs, and clinical excellence standards. The Director will oversee the creation and continuous improvement of scalable training programs across virtual, in-person, and e-learning formats, while leading a high-performing team of training professionals.
This leader will leverage digital platforms and Learning Management Systems to deliver accessible content, establish competency benchmarks, and ensure consistent performance across client-facing roles. In close partnership with Quality & Clinical Outcomes, Client Success, Pharmacy Services, and Human Resources, the Director will align training with compliance requirements, service delivery expectations, and enterprise workforce strategies. The role is also accountable for developing evaluation frameworks, monitoring training effectiveness through key performance metrics, and staying current on best practices in adult learning, healthcare education, and pharmacy operations to support standardized onboarding, enhanced clinical readiness, and scalable excellence across Visante’s managed services offerings.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead strategic workforce development initiatives to align training programs with organizational goals and client needs.
- Design, implement, and continuously enhance training programs for Field Services personnel across virtual, in-person, and e-learning formats.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of training professionals.
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital platforms to deliver scalable, accessible training content.
- Establish competency benchmarks and skill assessments to ensure consistent performance in client-facing roles.
- Collaborate with Quality & Clinical Outcomes leadership to align training with compliance, clinical standards, and audit readiness.
- Develop and manage evaluation frameworks to measure training impact on performance, compliance, and client outcomes.
- Partner with Client Success and Pharmacy Services leaders to ensure training supports service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Track, analyze, and report training effectiveness using metrics such as onboarding speed, performance variability, satisfaction, and retention.
- Stay current on best practices in adult learning, healthcare education, and pharmacy operations, and collaborate with HR to align enterprise and client-specific training efforts.
Requirements
Education
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Organizational Development, Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, Nursing, or a related field.
Preferred: Master’s degree preferred (e.g., MBA, M.Ed., MHA, MS in Organizational Leadership, or related discipline). Formal training in adult learning theory, instructional design, or workforce development.
Experience
Required: 7+ years of progressive experience in training, learning & development, or workforce development roles.

- Proven leadership skills, including building, developing, and managing high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated success improving onboarding efficiency, staff readiness, and overall workforce capability.

- Strong focus on compliance, audit readiness, and initiatives that enhance employee retention, engagement, and professionalism.
