Location: New York
Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $115,000 to $120,000 a year
Job Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LCSW, LMHC) for a full-time remote role based in New York. This opportunity is ideal for a clinician who wants a dependable weekday schedule while continuing to provide thoughtful, evidence-based therapy to a diverse client population. The role includes ongoing sessions, assessments, treatment planning, progress monitoring, and maintaining clear documentation that supports continuity of care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled telehealth therapy sessions with clients
- Complete mental health assessments and establish treatment goals
- Provide therapeutic interventions based on client needs and diagnosis
- Document sessions, plans, and progress notes accurately
- Maintain a full-time caseload and manage follow-up care appropriately
- Recognize when higher levels of care or referrals are needed
- Adhere to all clinical, privacy, and licensing requirements
Job Requirements
- Active New York LMFT, LCSW, or LMHC license
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field
- Previous experience in mental health treatment preferred
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong clinical standards
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable providing care in a fully remote environment
