Role Description
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Head of Sponsorship Sales, the Account Executive, Sponsorship Sales will develop and sell integrated partnerships across OneTeam’s portfolio of premium players associations and athletes, including the MLBPA, NWSLPA, USWNTPA, WNBPA, MLSPA, and emerging properties that OneTeam represents such as Unrivaled. This role requires a driven, consultative seller with a strong track record in sponsorship and business development, the ability to build senior-level relationships, and the creativity to translate brand objectives into impactful, long-term partnerships.
- Build and maintain deep relationships with C-Level brand and agency decision makers
- Prospect new leads and generate new partnership opportunities through strategic and creative outreach
- Take a consultative sales approach by being the voice of the brand and build platforms in partnership with Sales Solutions that address the client’s specific business objectives and marketing challenges
- Structure and close complex, multi-year integrated partnerships that include athlete IP, group rights, events, and custom content
- Contribute to the development and execution of partnership sales strategies designed to exceed revenue targets
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure sold partnerships are delivered at a high level, drive renewal opportunities, and overdeliver on client expectations
- Represent OneTeam and its partners at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
- Maintain accurate pipeline management, outreach tracking, and follow-up within Pipedrive or similar CRM tools
- Support the Head of Sponsorship Sales in improving internal sales processes and cross-team collaboration
Qualifications
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in direct sponsorship sales, business development for a major sports, entertainment or related agency environment
- Proven success closing complex, integrated partnerships and exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of the sports sponsorship environment both men’s and women’s sports, including the ability to speak knowledgeably about industry trends
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain long-term client relationships
- Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate insights and complex ideas into compelling proposals
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and stakeholders simultaneously across OneTeam and its partners
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage insights in sales outreach and presentations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM platforms such as Pipedrive or Salesforce
Requirements
- Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000 + bonus opportunity.

Working Conditions
- This role involves computer-based work, including video conferencing and frequent written and verbal communication with internal teams and external partners.
- Extended periods of sitting and screen time are expected.
- Travel will be required to attend meetings, industry events, or partner visits, which may include standing, walking, or transporting light materials (e.g., laptops, promotional items).
- The position requires the ability to work across multiple time zones, manage concurrent projects under tight deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- This role can be remote or based in an office setting, depending on department and organizational needs.
