Role Description
The Salesforce Solution Architect & Developer is responsible for both designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions. This role involves:
- Defining data models, security frameworks, and integration architectures to align with business objectives and IT strategy.
- Proficiency across Salesforce clouds, enterprise architecture best practices, data migration, and interoperability using platforms such as MuleSoft and Salesforce Omni Studio.
- Working with external or internal clients to build a holistic view of the strategy, processes, information, and information technology assets for their organization.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Creating an individualized professional development plan.
- Demonstrating technical thought leadership in Salesforce architecture and emerging Salesforce capabilities.
- Contributing to internal architecture standards, accelerators, and reusable assets tailored to government clients.
- Gaining experience with a variety of clients and industry verticals.
- Mentoring architects and developers, fostering growth through communities of practice, architecture reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Participating in technical pre-sales and scoping support for local government clients.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Salesforce development and architecture, with a strong understanding of Salesforce products and features.
- Experience with integration tools and techniques.
- Ability to perform hands-on application configuration (clicks not code) to meet customer needs.
- Assuming end-to-end functional responsibility for all aspects of enterprise-level solution implementation, from initial requirements gathering to release.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 8+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
