Palo Alto Networks is looking for an accomplished Services Operations Analyst to join our Global Customer Services (GCS) Strat-Ops organization. In this pivotal role, you will lead data-driven initiatives focused on transforming how we leverage analytics to drive Account Health across the GCS organization. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, technically skilled, and has a proven track record in data analytics and advanced reporting in a technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end analytics for the AHM Strat-Ops organization; including the design, implementation, and optimization of data-driven analysis, insights, processes and dashboards.
- Drive continuous process improvement by implementation of automation solutions through the use of AI.
- Develop and automate complex reports and analytical dashboards using Tableau, Looker Studio, GCP BigQuery, Salesforce, SQL, and Python.
- Partner with the GCS Strat-Ops team for a coordinated approach to data analytics across Technical Services and AHM.
- Identify metrics to measure and produce weekly and quarterly reports on specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that support AHM business objectives.
- Translate business needs into actionable data insights through reporting tools and AI to proactively identify trends, opportunities, and risks to inform leadership decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally across GCS, Strategy, Sales, Finance, Product and Engineering to ensure data integrity, alignment, and execution of strategic initiatives.
- Author high-quality executive summaries, strategic reports and documents to communicate complex analytical findings to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure best practices in data governance, quality, and security are maintained across all analytics initiatives.
- Train leaders on advanced analytics tools and methodologies, fostering a culture of data literacy and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field or equivalent military experience required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in analytics program management, hands on data analytics, or a similar role within a technology or consulting environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in data analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., Tableau, Google Sheets, GCP BigQuery, Google Looker Studio, Salesforce Analytics, ETL processes).
- Proven ability to automate complex reporting tasks and build scalable, repeatable analytics solutions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing executive-level reports and presentations.
- Advanced critical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail, with a track record of delivering error-free, high-impact analytical work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Cybersecurity domain and Services/Customer Success concepts and metrics (e.g., churn, health scoring, product adoption).
- Experience working with large datasets, data warehousing, and business intelligence concepts.
Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below.
