Job Description

• Clearly analyze, report, and measure team performance metrics using our systems to maximize the efficiency, quality, and customer service of our claims operation. • Responsible for the selection, evaluation, and retention of necessary contractors, adjusting firms, or related experts to assist in the daily handling of all applicable claims in each state of business. • Partner with the Director, Claims to assist in establishing staff objectives and performance goals. • Hire, train, coach, and mentor new and existing team members. • Utilize your previous claims expertise to create and maintain comprehensive claim handling guidelines for various areas of the business. • Conduct quarterly business reviews and audits on current team members and field adjusting firms to ensure compliance and best practices are being followed. • Due diligence is important to us! • Participation in special projects as needed.

Job Requirements

5+ years of experience as a desk adjuster in the homeowner/property industry.
Adjusting all perils (fire, hail, wind, water, theft, lightning, vandalism, etc.).
3+ years of management experience, leading a team of 5-10 adjusters in the P&C world.
Understanding valued policy states and knowledge of which perils apply and when tendering limits are appropriate.
Previous experience working with contractors, and vendors for claims resolution.
Previous experience evaluating Proof of Losses.
Previous experience handling CRN, DTPA, NOI, mediations, and appraisals.
Ability to conduct recorded statements with insureds.
Ability to leverage compromised settlements as a part of negotiation strategies.
You are currently licensed or eligible for licensing as an adjuster in the states of: FL,TX, NY and LA (we can provide assistance with your licensing fees).
