Role Description

As Manager, Lifecycle: Occupational Health and Safety, you will lead a team of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) specialists and Lifecycle coordinators and own the planning, implementation, and service level of the team. Your role is hands-on, serving as both mentor and guide to your team while fostering their professional growth. You'll be actively involved in managing and resolving complex Occupational Health and Safety events across multiple international jurisdictions, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all Remote employees and prioritizing a superior employee experience for Remote’s clients and employees. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing the vendor invoicing and billing activities for the Lifecycle Operations team with a focus on accurate and timely payment to our vendors and accurate invoicing to clients.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Lifecycle Operations Contracts Management, this is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal impact in the global employment space in our growing Lifecycle Operations team.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a fast-paced, international, scale-up environment
• Hands-on people management experience, with a coaching mindset
• You’re tech-savvy and eager to adapt and iterate processes through technology
• Passionate about accomplishing goals, with an emphasis on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction
• Startup and remote working experience would be a plus
• A growth and problem-solving mindset
• Writes and speaks fluent English
• Experience working remotely is considered a plus

Requirements

• Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point on all Occupational Health & Safety related topics
• Identify and provide guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to direct reports to build a high-performance team
• Take full ownership of the recruitment, training, skills enhancement, mentoring, and supervision of the regional team
• Collaborate efficiently across multiple domains, including Operations, Product, Engineering, Legal, and Customer Success
• Lead the team through its next phase of growth and smart scale operations of the OHS team
• Be an internal and external champion of Remote's values and Lifecycle team's goals
