Job Description
Role Description
As an Implementation Specialist, you'll be a core member of an implementation pod, working alongside an Implementation Manager to drive customer outcomes from onboarding through long-term success. You'll own meaningful workstreams end-to-end — managing stakeholder relationships, executing deployment projects, and ensuring every customer we launch sees clear, tangible value from day one. This is a role for someone who is equally comfortable building relationships and rolling up their sleeves to get things done.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure every customer we work with sees Odyssey as an indispensable partner — making the decision to continue and expand their relationship with us an easy one.
- Own and execute projects across new and existing customers, keeping timelines on track and stakeholders aligned every step of the way.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with your assigned customer stakeholders, serving as a reliable point of contact and a credible voice for Odyssey.
- Contribute to a scalable deployment playbook — finding ways to apply what's worked before rather than reinventing the wheel with each new customer.
- Proactively surface risks, flag blockers early, and work cross-functionally to keep implementations moving forward.
Qualifications
- Creative problem solver who doesn't wait around for answers — digs in, thinks critically, and finds a path forward.
- Excellent communicator who can translate complex plans into clear, actionable messaging for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, project management, implementation, or customer success.
- Thrives in early-stage startup environments where ambiguity is the norm and no two days look the same.
- Solid technical acumen — comfortable working within technical systems, and knows how to analyze data to drive decisions.
- Experience with SQL, Excel, or similar tools — a strong plus.
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine drive to keep getting better.
Requirements
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Benefits
- Medical/Dental/Vision plan(s)
- Health services
- Short term disability
- Unlimited PTO
- Salary range for this role is $70,000 - $90,000 depending on experience, interview performance and location.
