Role Description
Natera is looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Product Manager to lead the development and commercialization of somatic biomarker products. In this highly visible and dynamic role, you will drive the product lifecycle, from prioritizing new features and programs to developing a strategic roadmap and enhancing product performance. Your work will directly impact patient care by providing innovative oncology solutions to healthcare providers and stakeholders. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, ensuring that our products deliver maximum value in the competitive oncology space.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Statistics, Engineering, or related fields (Master’s or PhD preferred).
- 10+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in product management, product marketing, commercialization, or strategic consulting.
- Experience with oncology products, diagnostics, or medical devices, particularly in molecular testing or somatic biomarker testing, is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of leading product management initiatives in the life sciences or biotech industry.
Requirements
- Develop and execute the product roadmap for somatic biomarker products.
- Prioritize new features and initiatives, balancing customer needs and operational constraints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Software Engineering, Sales & Marketing, Clinical/Medical, Operations, Regulatory, and Business Development, to ensure successful product execution.
- Oversee product performance, identify key metrics, and collaborate with teams to drive continuous improvement strategies.
- Analyze performance data, develop actionable insights, and implement changes to improve product quality, efficiency, and market competitiveness.
- Conduct Voice of Customer (VOC) interviews, market research, and competitive analysis to inform product development and support growth.
- Leverage market insights to validate new features, enhance customer satisfaction, and ensure product-market fit.
- Identify new business opportunities and create financial models to support product initiatives and strategic investments.
- Develop comprehensive business cases that align with company objectives and present data-driven strategies to senior leadership for alignment and buy-in.
- Collaborate with Marketing to define product positioning, develop market launch strategies, and create compelling marketing collateral.
- Communicate the product vision, progress, and roadmap updates regularly to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure seamless collaboration between departments to achieve business objectives.
