In this role, you will help shape technical outreach strategy, build strong talent pipelines, and position Paramount as a top destination for emerging tech talent. You’ll bring the drive and curiosity needed to deliver an exceptional experience for both candidates and hiring partners, while collaborating with a high-performing recruiting team.

This is a 9-month, project-based contract position with the option to extend. We are open to candidates located in NYC or LA, as well as remote candidates.

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for technical internships and early-career full-time roles across Engineering, Data, Product, and other technology teams.
  • Partner closely with leaders, hiring managers, and HR business partners to understand evolving technical skill needs and workforce planning goals.
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies to attract early-career tech talent, including engagement with universities, coding bootcamps, hackathons, and technical student organizations.
  • Assess technical candidates through resume screening, technical pre-qualification, and structured interview processes in partnership with hiring teams.
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines across key skill areas such as software development, data science, cloud technologies, and emerging platforms.
  • Serve as a trusted talent advisor, ensuring competitive candidate slates.
  • Represent Paramount at tech-focused recruiting events, campus engagements, conferences, and virtual activations to strengthen employer brand and expand pipelines.
  • Champion consistent and data-driven recruitment practices aligned with internal standards and best practices; track progress and share insights with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the design and execution of programming that enhances the experience and development of technical interns.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of full-cycle recruitment experience, with a strong emphasis on technical recruiting (engineering, product, data, or related fields).
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Human Resources, Business, Technology, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting for technical skill sets such as software engineering, data analytics, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, or product management.
  • Strong understanding of technical roles, terminology, and hiring workflows.
  • Proven ability to influence and partner effectively with technical hiring managers and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong client service mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple technical requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience building relationships with technical student organizations, universities, or early-career tech programs.
  • Experience analyzing recruiting data and translating insights into actions that improve pipeline health, candidate experience, and hiring outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experience recruiting within media, streaming, entertainment, or consumer technology environments is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms such as SuccessFactors and recruiting technologies (technical assessment platforms, coding interview tools, video interviewing systems, etc.).
  • Experience leveraging sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, or technical talent communities.

Benefits

  • Hiring Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000.
  • The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
