Job Description
Role Description
This internship will support digital project delivery readiness by developing a structured, executive-ready view of factors that may influence digital delivery across sports venues and functional area teams. The intern will contribute analytics and documentation support to help Autodesk teams better understand potential risks, dependencies, and constraints affecting digital workflows aligned with key customers involved in venue design.
The role focuses on synthesizing information, identifying non-technical considerations, and translating findings into a clear visual and narrative format to inform internal planning, product positioning, and leadership discussions.
Through this internship, the intern is expected to:
- Gain exposure to large-scale, multi-stakeholder digital delivery environments
- Develop skills in structured analysis, risk framing, and executive communication
- Learn how Autodesk’s Design and Make Platform may support complex programs through data, workflows, and insights—without extending beyond confirmed scope or commitments
- Build experience translating ambiguous or incomplete information into clear, decision-support artifacts
Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in a full-time, degree seeking program (business, engineering, construction management, urban planning, information systems, or related fields)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in data, product management, and technology platforms
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex inputs
- Clear, concise written communication skills suitable for executive audiences
- Comfort working with ambiguity and incomplete information
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, presentation tools, and basic data visualization
- Familiarity with large capital programs, infrastructure delivery, or major event planning
- Exposure to risk assessment, program management, or operational readiness frameworks
- Interest in digital transformation within design, construction, or operations contexts
Requirements
- Support the development of a digital readiness heat map that consolidates indicators such as sports venue status and maturity, availability and reliability of digital data
- Ensure workflows and information are appropriately communicated and delivered to various internal departments and functions
- Assist in gathering and organizing inputs from internal Autodesk stakeholders and, where appropriate, materials shared by design team counterparts
- Help identify and document non-technical risk factors (e.g., contractual, organizational, access-related, or ownership considerations) that could influence digital delivery timelines or outcomes
- Contribute to the creation of concise, defensible summaries that present risks, assumptions, and constraints in a clear, executive-ready format
- Support internal alignment by preparing materials that may inform product positioning discussions, expectation-setting with leadership, escalation or prioritization decisions
- Maintain clear documentation of sources, assumptions, and known limitations to ensure analytical transparency
Benefits
- The 2026 U.S. program runs for 12 weeks (May 18 – August 7 or June 15 – September 4)
- All internships are paid
- Contribute to meaningful projects
- Be mentored by industry leaders
- Participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support personal and professional development
- Align with Autodesk’s Flexible Workplace approach, which is designed to meet the needs of our business while providing flexibility in support of office, remote, and hybrid work preferences
