The Patient Care Coordinator supports the clinical management of infusion patients by coordinating medication refills, supplies, and services under pharmacist supervision, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of therapies. This role acts as a key communication link between patients, pharmacy teams, nursing, operations, reimbursement, and distribution partners while maintaining high standards for quality and customer experience.

The Payment Specialist will be responsible for analyzing, posting, balancing, and reporting payments for assigned entities and payers within the billing system. This includes managing the assigned book of business by posting payments, completing necessary transfers, adjustments, and refunds, and recording daily cash posting to a log.

This role provides direct executive support to the Head of The Cigna Group Ventures, focusing on strategically managing calendars, preparing executive materials, and supporting extensive travel and meeting logistics. The coordinator will also drive operational excellence by maintaining CRM tools, coordinating vendor contracts, and managing team communications and operating cadence.

The representative will support the insurance clearance process by verifying pharmacy and medical benefits to ensure timely access to specialty medications for patients with complex conditions. This involves initiating outbound communication with insurance plans to resolve coverage questions, navigate prior authorization processes, and thoroughly document all findings.

The coordinator serves as the primary case manager, guiding patient cases from referral through therapy completion, which involves handling prior authorizations, scheduling deliveries, and retrieving documents promptly. Responsibilities also include providing phone-based customer service, performing claim adjudication tasks like billing and eligibility checks, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to resolve patient issues.
