Role Description

This role provides an exciting opportunity to support U.S. law firms in managing complex civil litigation cases from start to finish. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will:

  • Conduct legal research and draft critical documents.
  • Assist attorneys through every stage of the litigation process, including discovery, hearings, and trials.
  • Maintain organized case files and coordinate communications with clients and courts.
  • Ensure strict adherence to deadlines and court procedures.
  • Work in a fully remote environment, requiring a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional.

Your work will have a direct impact on case outcomes and the efficiency of the legal team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant experience as a Litigation Paralegal, particularly in U.S. civil litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures, court rules, and legal terminology.
  • Skilled in legal research and document drafting.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (especially Excel) and Google Workspace.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong command of English.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and maintain reliability.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
  • Experience in a remote work environment is an advantage.

Requirements

  • Assist attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, including trial and appeal preparation.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Manage and organize case files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Coordinate communications with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other parties.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as email management, scheduling, and monitoring court deadlines.
  • Prepare and manage discovery processes, including document production, interrogatories, and depositions.
  • Support hearings, depositions, and trials by organizing exhibits, witness materials, and case documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with court rules, procedures, and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
