THE WORK:
- Lead, create, and complete responses to RFQs/SOQs/RFPs/RFIs from start to finish.
- Strong organizational and time management skills required to coordinate multiple proposals/tasks with overlapping deadlines (sometimes across time zones) with minimal supervision.
- Create schedules, outlines, and writing templates for all pursuits within defined area of supervision.
- Lead the development of proposals and work in coordination with identified technical Subject Matter Experts to gather content for use in proposals.
- Contribute to activities or campaigns leading up to the proposal such as targeted marketing campaigns or public relations campaigns.
- Accountable for timely submission of compliant and compelling proposals.
- Identify improvements in processes and departmental efficiency.
- Conduct other duties and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or communications or related field – or qualified relevant experience in lieu of a formal education.
- 3-5 years of experience managing proposals for State, Local, and Higher Education clients (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry desired).
Requirements
- Expertise in proposal-related activities: qualifications, proposals, presentations.
- Grasp of technical skills required for database management.
- Professional and proactive work ethic.
- Self-starter with ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent written, oral and communication skills.
- Demonstrated graphic design capabilities.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Word and PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign).
