Role Description

As a Project Manager at REZ, you will lead ground-up commercial construction and major remodel projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will oversee schedules, budgets, subcontractor coordination, and client communication while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the high standards our clients expect. This role requires someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing projects across multiple locations while working remotely with the REZ team.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage ground-up commercial construction and large-scale remodel projects
  • Coordinate project teams, including superintendents, subcontractors, architects, and consultants
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, job cost tracking, and change orders
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong professional relationships
  • Oversee field production and ensure project milestones are met
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting using Procore and internal systems
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies
  • Travel to job sites as needed to support field teams and maintain project momentum

Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects
  • Proven experience delivering ground-up construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing including sitework, foundations, structural systems, and building envelope
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Experience managing subcontractors, schedules, and project budgets
  • Strong leadership, organization, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to address issues immediately to keep projects moving forward
  • Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office, and construction project management systems
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying closely connected with project teams
  • Willingness to travel to job sites as required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred but not required)
  • Experienced tradespeople or field leaders with strong project management experience are encouraged to apply

Who This Role Is NOT For

  • This role may not be the right fit if you prefer an office-based role with limited travel
  • Are uncomfortable managing multiple projects in different locations
  • Prefer narrowly defined responsibilities rather than full project ownership
  • Are not confident leading subcontractors, field teams, and client relationships
  • Are uncomfortable addressing problems directly and resolving issues quickly to keep projects moving forward
  • Prefer highly structured environments where every decision is directed by others

Why REZ Management

  • National projects with a stable, experienced team
  • Strong operational support and collaborative culture
  • Integrity-driven leadership and long-term client relationships
  • Opportunity to lead meaningful commercial projects across multiple industries
