Role Description
GovCIO is currently hiring for a seasoned Microsoft 365 Administrator with hands-on experience managing, securing, and optimizing enterprise-scale M365 environments. The person should be adept at architecting cloud productivity solutions, driving modernization initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence across collaboration, identity, and security workloads. This position is located within the United States and will be a fully remote.
- Tenant Administration: Oversee full lifecycle management of Microsoft 365 tenants, including configuration, governance, and service health monitoring.
- Exchange Online Management: Administer mail flow, hybrid configurations, retention policies, and advanced troubleshooting.
- SharePoint Online & OneDrive: Manage site collections, permissions, content lifecycle, and migration initiatives.
- Teams Administration: Configure collaboration policies, voice features, compliance settings, and integration with other M365 services.
- Security & Compliance: Implement DLP, retention, eDiscovery, Insider Risk, and compliance frameworks.
- PowerShell Automation: Develop scripts to automate provisioning, reporting, and configuration tasks.
- Monitoring & Optimization: Use admin center, message center, and analytics tools to ensure service reliability and performance.
- User Support: Provide Tier 3 support for escalated issues across all M365 workloads.
Qualifications
- High School with 9+ years (or commensurate experience)

- Azure AD/Entra ID identity and access management
- Exchange Online configuration and troubleshooting
- Teams collaboration management
- SharePoint Online architecture
