Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Sr. Campaign Manager to join the AdOps team and lead the execution and management of post-sale digital advertising campaigns across our portfolio. This team focuses on supporting the full campaign lifecycle from start to finish and delivering impactful advertising insights that drive internal and external decision making. This role is critical to enabling seamless campaign execution, exceptional client service, and consistent revenue-driven initiatives through robust operational support.

The Sr. Campaign Manager will combine the technical expertise of publisher-side ad trafficking with strong client communication, project management, and analytical skills. The Outcomes You Will Deliver:

  • Flawless Campaign Execution: Launch and manage campaigns with precision, ensuring accuracy in trafficking, targeting, pacing, and delivery.
  • Revenue Protection & Growth: Proactively monitor delivery and performance to ensure full revenue realization, minimize under delivery, and identify optimization or upsell opportunities.
  • Client Satisfaction & Retention: Serve as a trusted post-sale partner to clients and agencies, providing proactive communication, troubleshooting assistance, and campaign performance insights.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and refine effective and scalable processes that improve turnaround times, reduce errors, and enhance cross-functional collaboration.
  • Actionable Reporting & Insights: Deliver clear, data-driven reporting for internal and external use that demonstrates ad performance, communicates revenue opportunities, and supports ad product initiatives.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Own the end-to-end post-sale lifecycle for direct-sold and programmatic campaigns across display and video.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for campaign execution, providing guidance to junior team members and supporting complex or high-value campaigns.
  • Act as the primary post-sale point of contact for clients, agencies and internal teams to collect assets, share requirements, manage expectations, and align on timelines.
  • Manage campaign booking details, reconciliations, and billing in the order management system.
  • Traffic campaigns in Google Ad Manager (or equivalent ad server), ensuring accurate setup of line items, targeting, and creatives across 1st and 3rd party assets.
  • Conduct thorough QA prior to launch and proactively troubleshoot technical, trafficking, and reporting issues.
  • Monitor pacing and performance, making optimizations to ensure campaigns deliver in full and meet KPIs.
  • Provide regular campaign reporting and performance updates, including end-of-campaign recaps with insights and recommendations.
  • Translate campaign performance data into strategic insights that inform pricing, packaging, and product development decisions.
  • Maintain documentation, best practices, and trafficking guidelines to support operational consistency and efficiency.
  • Stay informed on industry changes impacting ad delivery, measurement, privacy, and creative formats.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in digital advertising, with strong hands-on experience in publisher-side ad operations or campaign management across direct, PG, and PMP.
  • Deep working knowledge of Google Ad Manager (or similar platforms), third-party ad servers, trafficking workflows, campaign troubleshooting, ad verification, and ad tech structure.
  • Strong understanding of digital ad formats, targeting methodologies, monetization, forecasting, and performance KPIs.
  • Experience managing client communication in a post-sale capacity with strong relationship building skills.
  • Clear and confident communicator, capable of translating technical concepts into client-friendly language.
  • Highly detail-oriented, process-driven, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort interpreting campaign and ad performance data.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively cross-functionally with Sales, Product, RevOps, and Engineering.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional service while maintaining operational rigor.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and pixel implementation as it relates to ad serving and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with rich media and VAST creative types.
  • Proficiency with project management platforms, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), Google Workspace.

Benefits

  • Employee Emergency Fund
  • Company equity (stock options)
  • Open PTO policy
  • 401K plan with company match
  • Hybrid/flexible work environment
