- Drive strategic planning and execution for the pre-clinical portfolio, focusing on early clinical development initiatives.
- Monitor portfolio performance, risks, milestones, and key metrics to inform timely, data-driven decisions.
- Lead cross-functional resource planning and allocation to ensure successful delivery of portfolio objectives.
- Manage stakeholder alignment across leadership, cross-functional teams, and governance bodies.
- Track deliverables and integrate portfolio frameworks, including governance, milestones, and RACIs.
- Support the translation of strategy into actionable initiative roadmaps, including analytics, working sessions, and strategic communications.
- Oversee talent development, succession planning, and high-performance culture initiatives within the portfolio team.
Qualifications
- Advanced academic or strategic background (MD, PhD, MBA) with at least 10 years of relevant experience in pharmaceuticals, biotech, or consulting, ideally in inflammation or related therapeutic areas.
- Proven experience leading change, implementing business/process/system improvements, and driving operational excellence.
- Strong portfolio and project management expertise with deep knowledge of early clinical development and PoC strategies.
- Demonstrated leadership in complex, global matrix organizations with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Exceptional analytical skills, including performance assessment and decision-support insights.
- Executive-ready communication skills and high digital literacy to advocate data- and technology-enabled approaches.
