Role Description

This role offers a high-impact opportunity to lead client success and growth within the auto insurance vertical. The Director of Account Management will oversee strategic client relationships, ensuring operational excellence while identifying opportunities to expand revenue and deliver value. You will manage complex marketing programs, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize performance and guide strategic decision-making. This position requires a highly analytical and resourceful leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance multiple priorities effectively. You will collaborate across internal teams to drive initiatives, improve processes, and deliver innovative solutions. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, fostering long-term client partnerships and measurable results.

  • Direct operational management and P&L oversight for a portfolio of clients, proactively setting and managing expectations.
  • Analyze large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights to optimize client marketing programs.
  • Lead strategic initiatives to grow the auto insurance vertical, identifying unmet client needs and developing solutions.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for client onboarding, new setups, and ongoing project execution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver client objectives, streamline processes, and implement best practices.
  • Provide thought leadership on marketing innovations, compliance, and performance optimization across channels.
  • Manage client billing, monthly product reconciliations, and ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in client management within financial services or online marketing, preferably with auto insurance expertise.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; experience with business intelligence or visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) preferred.
  • Solid understanding of online performance marketing, web metrics, and pricing structures (CPM, CPC, CPA) impacting profitability.
  • Exceptional project management, multi-tasking, and team leadership abilities.
  • Ability to travel periodically for client visits and conferences.
  • Demonstrated capability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven, and collaborative environment.
