Job Description
Role Description
The American College of Radiology is searching for a dynamic Accounting Intern to join our GL Team. In this role, you will:
- Use various accounting systems to analyze data and create journal entries that flow into our financials.
- Provide support for our month-end close process.
- Support preparation of audit schedules and GL account reconciliations.
- Gain a hands-on understanding of the full accounting cycle.
- Enhance your knowledge while cultivating the skills you need to be successful.
Qualifications
- Current undergraduate student (Accounting or Finance majors preferred).
- Enrolled full-time and carrying a 3.0+ GPA.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, curious, and mature.
- Eager to learn, self-driven, and take initiative.
- System savvy.
Requirements
- Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations.
- Assist with audit preparations.
- Work closely with our Accounting Department leadership.
- Gain hands-on experience within an ERP and other accounting systems.
- Gain experience understanding how your accounting classes translate to a real-life business environment.
- Perform other duties and special projects as needed.
Benefits
- Interns work a 32.5 hour work week, from May 18th to August 7th, with every Friday afternoon off.
- Hourly compensation range for this position is $19.00 – $23.00, depending on class level.
