Job Description

• Leverage economic and statistical techniques to analyze internal and 3rd party data sources, including sales data, production and inventory data, customer loyalty, and market trends, to drive strategic decisions. • Predict automobile market conditions and prescribe marketing campaigns and pricing optimizations for management and operations. • Develop data-driven approaches to better understand and optimize automobile sales and risk analysis with a strong understanding of production and inventory management and customer loyalty retention. • Manage data wrangling, cleansing, transformation, and quality analysis in Google Cloud BigQuery and Alteryx using programs including Python, and advanced SQL skills. • Develop data visualizations and reports using Qlik Sense, Vizlib, and Power BI. • Develop and maintain documentation that includes descriptions of economic methodologies. • Deliver results to business partners, including senior executives, with a variety of backgrounds and technical skill sets by possessing strong business communication skills to effectively gather requirements, create compelling data visualizations, and deliver results to business partners, including senior executives, with a variety of backgrounds and technical skill sets.

Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology Management or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 4 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
  • 1. Utilize SQL, Python, and Git to manage, manipulate, and deploy data for analysis and reporting.
  • 2. Utilize Exceptional Microsoft Office Experience (Excel, Pivot Tables, Macros) to perform ad hoc analysis in an executive-consumable format with limited lead time.
  • 3 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
  • 1. Utilize domain knowledge of marketing analytics in the automotive industry including production and inventory management and fixed and variable incentive analysis.
  • 2 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
  • 1. Extract, transform, and load data in Google Cloud Big Query to feed internal analytical tools and visualizations, as well as democratize data to business partners across the enterprise.
  • 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
  • 1. Develop data visualizations in Power BI utilizing DAX and Power Apps.
  • 2. Develop data visualizations with Qlik Sense and Vizlib to clearly and concisely present complex market conditions to a diverse audience of business customers.
  • 3. Leverage Alteryx to consolidate disparate data sources, build statistical models, and automate recurring processes.
