Role Description
Pismo is expanding its Commercial team in North America. We are seeking a Senior Sales professional (Director) to identify and generate new business opportunities across the country, selling our comprehensive portfolio of payments and banking technology solutions.
- Driving new client acquisitions and client growth through selling Pismo solutions.
- Develop, grow, and execute against a pipeline of new opportunities within key markets and segments.
- Work closely with other regional leaders for regional coverage and revenue growth.
This specialist sales role requires a high degree of commercial acumen, business maturity, and self-motivation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, with demonstrated success in revenue growth strategies, including pipeline conversion and reducing time to revenue.
This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties to be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.
Qualifications
- 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD).
- You have prior work experience with payments and/or core banking solutions.
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD.
- Proven track record in driving new client acquisitions.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed booking and revenue targets.
- Experience deploying a sales methodology to accelerate deal closure through a value-based selling approach.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with peers and seniors in other functional areas and across global regional teams.
- Ability to work independently within a complex and competitive environment and manage multiple initiatives.
- Strong financial acumen related to deal structures and value to execution to the partner ecosystem.
- Experience managing multiple internal stakeholders to deliver commercial goals.
- Ability to drive a collaborative culture with key cross-functional stakeholders.
- High level of problem-solving and project management skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to travel regionally if required.
Requirements
- Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
- Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
- Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
