Role Description
This role is temporary through December 31, 2026. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., based on business needs. Evening and weekend hours may occur but are expected to be minimal.
There will be some travel to other campuses or Herzing home office in Milwaukee, WI. While this can be a remote position, it is preferred that the ideal candidate live within a reasonable commuting distance to one of our South Region campuses (Atlanta, Birmingham, Clarksville (TN), Nashville, New Orleans).
The campus experience coordinator plays an important role with students ensuring they receive consistent support and connection to resources, faculty, and staff. This role serves as the initial point of contact for student inquiries, needs, and serves as an advocate to escalate concerns when needed. Additionally, the campus experience coordinator supports university departments in their responsibilities to ensure student success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Three plus years’ demonstrated experience and success in administrative or operations support.
- Three plus years’ demonstrated experience as project or team lead with direct supervision of others.
- Up to three years’ experience in departmental area of focus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office primarily Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proficient in keyboarding, document editing, data management and up to date internet technology.
- Experience with software systems and platforms for student information, customer relationship management (CRM), learning management and campus data.
Requirements
- Experience in health care human resources, credentialing, or regulatory compliance supporting clinical or adjunct faculty (preferred).
- Demonstrated success coordinating onboarding processes with hospitals, clinics, or other health care organizations (preferred).
- Strong ability to build collaborative relationships with clinical nursing faculty and external site representatives (preferred).
- Working knowledge of health care documentation standards including licensure verification and required clinical onboarding elements (preferred).
- Experience supporting multi-site or regional operations with high accuracy, strong follow through, and proactive issue resolution (preferred).
- Previous experience with Complio, COREELMS and/or Salesforce (preferred).

Responsibilities
- Trained on Herzing Hub to look-up and enter basic information.
- Opens and closes front reception, and when security role is not employed, opens and closes campus.
- Schedules meetings and maintains shared calendars; reserves and manages reservations of classrooms, conference rooms, testing rooms, and other resources.
- Responsible for filing, record maintenance, data entry, tracking, and running basic reports.
- Administers assessments for academics and admissions.
- Operates office machines including but not limited to computer, print/copy/scan machine, ID printer.
- Organizes and assembles campus material such as orientation folders.
- Sort/distributes mail, prepares outgoing mail and shipment of packages.
- Monitors inventory and orders supplies (office materials, shipping, postage, refreshments, scrubs, etc.).
- Processes purchase orders and invoices.
- Assists with student orientation and student onboarding activities.
- Working through the coordinator, sr. or team lead, supports coordination and planning for campus events.
- Generally assigned to one department to provide specialized functional support.
- Serves as a resource to answer questions and resolve issues within an assigned department; escalates to next level when needed.
- In absence of team lead, may provide guidance, support and/or supervision to student workers.
- Conducts outreach to prospective and current students proactively working and documenting in the Herzing Hub.
- Coordinates and plans department meetings and events.
- Depending on departmental assignment may:
- On-board and off-board department employees.
- Collect or process payments.
- Work with community contacts such as clinical sites.
- Proactively schedule prospective and current appointments for self and others.
- Manage issues and provide solutions for student or community contacts.
Physical Requirements
- Required to be on campus full-time five days per week.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position most of the time.
- Must be able to regularly move around the work location.
- Consistently operates office equipment which includes computers, copiers, and other audio/visual devices.
- Frequently uses voice and hearing to communicate through audio devices and face-to-face.
- Visually or otherwise identify, observe and assess.
- Occasionally move, carry, or lift 10 pounds.
Travel
- Travel to local campus locations required as needed.
- Sr. Manager Campus Experience: Travel regularly throughout the region to assist with campus coverage and training.
