Role Description
The Senior Manager, IT Business Partnership (ITBP) serves as a trusted advisor to business leaders, aligning technology solutions with organizational goals to improve efficiency, enhance collaboration, and support innovation. This role builds strong stakeholder relationships, translates business needs into actionable initiatives, and partners closely with IT Centers of Excellence to ensure business requirements are met. The Senior Manager guides digital transformation efforts and coordinates project execution to deliver measurable business value.
- Serve as the primary IT liaison for assigned business functions, fostering clear communication and managing expectations between IT and business stakeholders.
- Partner with business leaders and key business contacts to define and maintain a technology roadmap aligned with immediate and future needs.
- Provide guidance on change management, adoption strategies, and operational readiness for new technology initiatives and technology transformations.
- Lead the execution of IT projects, ensuring deliverables meet agreed-upon business objectives.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and reduce costs through technology solutions.
- Support digital adoption by partnering with business stakeholders, monitoring usage, and sharing insights to optimize solutions.
- Assist with budget planning for assigned initiatives, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment to business priorities.
- Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, operational strategies, and industry trends to recommend relevant solutions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in IT business relationship management, business analysis, or IT program management.
- Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to align technology strategies with organizational objectives.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects and drive change.
- Knowledge of current and emerging technologies, with experience in evaluating and implementing solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to navigate and support cross-cultural teams with a focus on inclusivity, psychological safety, and collaboration.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in IT strategy, business analysis, or related fields, with 2–3 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related area preferred.
